We always start our programs with
reading, to inspire students to create their own books.
Their new books can then be shared in-kind with other members of their school and community, and the world. This cycle of
Read-Create-Share is the basis of a healthy,
Book Cycle, the hallmark of a fully literate community . When we can begin this
cycle of kids making books and sharing them,
we can build book abundance in any
community, establishing literacy as available to all.
